Manchester - 1937. The Miller Brothers’ mission was to create a global outerwear brand which would offer stylish protection from the ever-unpredictable British weather. In 1947 the company start making the Original G9 Baracuta at their Chorlton street factory in Manchester. The Harrington Jacket was born.
Beyond sport, the G9 has established itself in everyday wardrobes since the 1950s and has become part of the "uniform" of British subcultures such as mods and skinheads. Appearances in Hollywood films and stylish wearers such as Elvis Presley, Steve McQueen and Frank Sinatra helped it achieve the cult status it deserves.
The original G9 Mens Harrington Jacket established itself as an iconic item, a garment that all men should have in their wardrobe at some point in their life - for a lifetime.
